The Bard Ranch kitchen remodel began with one element that wasn't going anywhere—the home's existing pine tongue-and-groove ceiling. Rather than fight it, the new design works with the warmth of the wood, balancing it with a lighter palette of white and gray. Removing the corner pantry opened up the kitchen and made room for a much larger island, while the integrated table extension created a natural gathering place for the family. The result is a brighter, more functional kitchen that feels at home within the existing architecture.
